Betty’s Brave and Beautiful Hearts Foundation was born from a promise. Rebecca Baker's mother, Betty, was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. A beloved mother and granny, for over a year she fought for her life. During this time, Rebecca and Betty came to realize that there was a notable lack of support from cancer organizations specifically tailored to address the unique challenges she faced. Despite their longstanding involvement in supporting breast cancer research and participating in fundraisers, it wasn’t until Betty herself became a victim of this terrible disease that they truly understood the absence of direct assistance for patients. This realization struck them deeply, and Betty expressed to Rebecca her idea of creating a foundation that would directly help women during their fight against cancer.
Aiming to fulfill the promise Rebecca made to her mother, Betty’s Brave & Beautiful Hearts Foundation was born. We stand united in our pursuit of making a difference in the lives of women confronting the challenges of breast cancer. Together, we offer not just assistance, but a heartfelt commitment to support, empower, and uplift these brave individuals on their journey towards healing and resilience.
